The photos not taken

I can only HOPE to some day get another chance to get this photo.... I saw a horse grazing in it's pasture surrounded by a flock of turkeys. I've seen the horse there many times, and I've seen the turkeys there many times. However I'd never seen them together like that before. It was awesome. It was also on a busy road and raining so I didn't stop. Next time. Next time. Next time.

There is also a place that I have been passing by in the afternoons where llamas or alpacas are grazing with chickens. I haven't taken a photo of that yet either. I should sometime. I really should.

deer in Montague

I got this photo a few days ago but the deer is so far from the road I'm not sure if you will be able to see it well enough.

Bunny rabbit yesterday

In the same area that we saw the woodchucks (or beavers) we saw a bunny rabbit. I have seen one here before but I have also seen it chased by dogs owned by a summer resident. So glad I had a few minutes to stop and watch this little critter eat.

Beavers or woodchucks in the neighborhood

Stopped to get the mail at the end of the street.
What's that? It's not a bunny. It's not a squirrel. What IS that thing??
Take a picture! Take a picture Mom!
Oh look there's 2!

Car goes by, animals run for cover, and then come back again but only 1. The other is still hiding.

I take the photo. A bicyclist comes up the dirt road to get her mail. I show her the photo. She zooms in on it to get a better look.

Beavers!

Beavers on land?

Well the lake is just across the street, and a large beaver lodge has been spotted upstream.

So beaver it is!

Or woodchuck/groundhog??

I posted this photo on Facebook and everyone is telling me it's a woodchuck. So I don't know now.

Woodchuck seems to be getting the majority vote though.
