It's getting colder, November afternoon

I had a few minutes to stop at the Lake Wyola State Beach yesterday afternoon around 4pm. I'm not sure if the pictures will show how pretty the sky was. It was a nice pink and blue, just before sunset. Amazing how fast it gets dark now as winter approaches.

The lake is just starting to get a little ice on it. If I had taken photos from the cove it would be more evident, but that will have to be another day.

During the summer the water goes right up to this wooden deck.

Looking out- that line might be ice-

Looking toward Shore Drive--

Looking at the dam, and the dam house-

another shot looking out, trying to capture the pink sky-

A view of a home with some tree damage. I think the tree missed the house, but not by much. You can see the water line on the shore-

Where the fishing dock attaches to land during the summer. All those rocks are usually underwater, under the dock--

Not sure how this one came out-

Again, the water is much higher in the summer. That boat is usually just barely on shore-

Looking at the barn. Love this place!-

Fishing dock up on the beach-

Shot of the parking office and the park ranger's barbecue. I'm not sure why they put an ice warning on the parking office though.-

Sunset picture from the parking lot. I have posted other pictures from this spot as well. It's an easy shot to get from the car when I'm in a hurry going to work.-

View from the road that goes past the dam.- This is a shot that I've posted on this blog before during other seasons. It's another easy one to get from the car. -
