More Lake Wyola photos

Stopped by the state beach yesterday afternoon and was there for sunset. The lake ice wasn't too safe looking but we had fun in the park and around the shore.

The phone in the phone booth had a dial tone but I didn't have any change on me. Guess I could have made a free call though.

 Not everyone knows where this shower door is. Pretty sure it's leftover from a bygone era. I don't think you can actually shower here in the summer, but I'll admit I've never tried.

Saturday, January 17th, at Lake Wyola

Typical January afternoon. I expected to see more ice fishing but maybe I just didn't get a look at the ice at the right time. Early this morning I drove by the lake, before sunrise, and there was already a bob house on the lake. Mid-morning I drove by and it was still there as well as another group ice fishing who didn't have the portable house. Tomorrow's weather forecast is rain and snow and warm. I don't know what that will do to the ice conditions. I kind of thought today would be busier in light of the unpredictable weather for the rest of the weekend. In any case I got my camera out for a couple of shots by the cove and then for a couple of shots on one of the lakeside private roads.

Revitalizing my blogs? or not?

Does anyone blog anymore? Or is everything on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter these days?

I ignored this blog all during 2014 but I got a new camera for Christmas so I'm thinking about getting this going again. Going to try to post at least once a month.

If people have suggestions as to a better place (maybe Instagram) for doing this let me know.

Not sure if anyone will see this anyway... Ice fishing and ice hockey were happening on the lake today. There was a truck loading up a bobsled when I was coming home from the grocery store.e The hockey players were still out on the ice though.
